I had a deck sliding door and decorative window above door replaced. Installation was a 3-4 steps/ days process since this was a pop out with stucco around. The actual door and window installers were fantastic, clean and efficient. The foam and metal grid not so clean but I called and the stucco person following fixed and did the stucco first coat and stucco second coat. He will be also doing the matching painting and he is doing a professional work. I’m planning to change all my house windows with Desert King. This sliding door was the test and Desert King passed the test. I’ll keep you posted with the rest of the house.

Justin Jackson was at our house today making some repairs and adjustments on our security door. Justin is an outstanding person. He is so professional, caring, kind, and understanding. He is empathetic and truly cares about helping to resolve the situation with our dour. He is very respectful of our property and made sure to clean the area where he was working completely. Great service with desert king Windows. It all started with enthusiastic Mauricio who helped all the way through to obtaining the SRP rebate. Originally I only wanted to replace three bad windows (25 years old) and found out that compared to other companies adding just a little bit more I was able to get the entire house replaced including the sliding door. They had the best warranty.

Jose and the crew were very friendly in detailed oriented they were able to remove and put back blinds and shutters(Lowe's would not touch). They kept everything clean.

After they were installed there is now more light since there are no shade screens. My blinds are partially open instead of living in a dark cave. I compared prices of similar temperatures and found out that I was saving on average 96 cents per day. I actually had to increase the temperature by 2° since it was so cold. In November instead of getting an increase at SRP, I actually got $23 savings per month. Inside it is now quieter without hearing the AC going on and off and the cars driving down the street.

The only issue I had was with Jonathan it was obvious that he was not listening to my reply messages since he kept repeating the same monotone messages. When he arrived he had visitors in front of him and asked if I would not mind. (other companies usually call the day before out of respect) I was also shocked that he opened my closed wooden blinds when they were still vertical. I was surprised that somebody in the window company would not realize that can alter or affect the mechanism. He didn't seem to care because their company is not responsible for any damages.

Sealed windows make all of the difference. With the cooler weather I am now enjoying being able to open and close them to get fresh air. Thank you Mauricio for getting this process started.

We were so pleased with the work that Dereck and James did for us . They were very professional , communicate when they were arriving , very detailed in their work . The 1st interaction with our sales representative, Mauricio, was great. He explained all the options and helped us with some arch window options. Very polite and knowledgeable on products.

Install is were things went downhill... the first crew (Rick and helper) they sent out spent 3 days installing and things did not go well. This crew came back a week or so later to "fix" some issues and finish everything.

Things were not fixed and I had to get the project manager to come out to review everything. Jonathan was polite and explained some of the issues along with getting new parts ordered for some of the frames that were damaged by their crew.

The final install crew was night and day difference from the first. Mike and Cindy were professional, kept the work space clean and install went smooth.

In summary, I would use them again but it has not been an easy ride. In total I think its been about 5 months from start to finish because items had to be ordered from the manufacturer more than once!

If I could I would leave a 10 star review. Derek and James did a job 10 times better than I thought possible. Our house was built in 1984 with single pane cheap windows. I was anticipating a lot of problems and did not have a single one. They did 13 windows 2 sliders and a front door with a side lite. I’m glad I chose Desert King. Thanks Guys for the great job

I had 3 windows and a patio door replaced with door that has a doggy door. The windows are fine, but I do not recommend them for removing and replacing doors. They charged me extra for the removal and reinstallation of the security screen door, but the door knob is now too close to the door jamb, causing the problem of fingers getting pinched if you’re not careful. It could be readjusted but they refused, saying it would take too much time. They said it wasn’t their door. 🤔. Also, the doggy door is very cheaply made of plastic and just one panel instead of the more robust ones that have up to three floppy panels. It doesn’t seal out the heat. Also the closing panel just snaps on and likes to fall off. There’s no lock on it to keep unwanted visitors out. I was appalled that they passed this off to me. I thought they would deliver a quality product that would “knock out the weather!” Not so. I complained to them about both of these issues and they’re compensating me financially, but I’d really rather have a quality installation.

We needed a new sliding patio door, my colleague recommended Anlin windows and doors, and I went to their website and made a request. Within 24hrs Desert King called me and setup a time to come explore options. To make a long story short, we ended up replacing all our large windows and sliding patio door. Our salesperson was polite, professional, and said it would be around 8 weeks for the build. Less than a month later we got a call from Cindy and Mike for our install! Cindy and Mike arrived on time and got right to work. They were a great team and even let me annoy them with question while they were working so I could learn more about the window install process. I was a bit skeptical about insert replacements, but they did such an amazing install I was very happy with our choice. They took the time to clean up after the work and even put down floor coverings. Thanks again for such a seamless process and great price!

We're experienced home remodelers, so we did a lot of shopping around before going with Desert King Windows. Don, our sales guru, was patient answering all our questions. On the day of our installation, Alex and Jerry's crew showed up to perform the installation. Talk about great efficiency teamwork! Alex was polite and knowledgeable. She took the time to answer my questions and did a great job making sure the team was effective and efficient. Alex also made sure the job was done to the highest standards. If you're on the fence, don't think twice. Every step from the consultation to the installation went as smoothly as butter. How long does a typical replacement window project take?

After an order is placed, the final measurements are taken within a week. Depending on what is ordered, most products arrive within 4-6 weeks after that measure. As for the install itself, we can typically install 6-10 windows per day.

Is it cheaper to replace all windows at once?

Yes and no. If a customer installs at least 4 windows at a time, that will be the biggest price break. As long as a customer does 4 at a time, they will not be paying extra. But we have financing so they can get them all done at once and pay them off slowly while enjoying the energy savings along with less dust and outside noise! Plus, all out dated windows leak air. If you had 10 holes in your boat, would you fix only 4 at a time?? NOPE!

Is there a difference between new windows and replacement windows?

If its an existing house, no. They are one and the same. If its a newly built house, it has new windows but they are builder grade windows and will be outdated within 5-10 years.
