Excellent! My wife and I chose Desert Kings Window after interviewing all the other window companies. The sales agent ,that came to our home, was informative Mauricio. The most important phrase of having our whole home upgraded including a new patio door of course is the installation probably the most important. My wife and I can only state that the installers Mike and Cindy were not only expert in their craft but cared for our furniture and every item. They laid tarps on the floors. Plastic wrapped anything that might get affected by the removal of all old windows. They not only installed to perfection but cleaned everywhere that had to be addressed. The scheduling got a little sideways in communications with the answering service. The technician was Ceasar. He is great! Had a problem with the sliding glass door lock. It look some time to figure it out but he did! Ceasar was polite and professional.

New windows were ordered in early September 2025 and scheduled to be installed on Oct 31, 2025. When the installers got there we found out the the wrong windows were ordered so they had to be reordered. We decided to keep all but two of the original windows and were given a 10% discount for the mistake. Were told the windows would be in after 2-3 weeks, however they didn't show up until Dec 30, 2025. Had them installed a week later. We were not happy with the caulk used on the outside as it was white and showed up on our brown stucco, but that was quickly rectified. The caulking job on the inside was sloppy. Again they sent someone out to fix it and he did one one of the windows, however we didn't see the other problems until after we had the vertical blinds replaced. There are places where the caulking is not even and is very thick. I will say that Robert went out of his way to make us happy and did all he could to get the problems taken care of. The main issue was that it took 4 months to get the windows so I cannot give the c ompany a 5 star rating.

My experience with this company was as good as can be expected. From the initial consultation up to now (post install), the communication has been clear and straightforward. Met with Don in late Oct while shopping companies for the job. We went with Desert King and signed in November. December was manufacturing of all the house windows and sliding door. Installation was scheduled in January. Installation time quote was 2 days. Justin and Shane (install duo) showed up on time, communicated the job clearly, and finished the job according to the timeframe. All three members that I had met were professional, courteous, and considerate as they worked on my home. I'm currently painting the caulking and repaired stucco (which I was made aware of from the beginning) to finish the process outlined by the warranty. Very happy with the quality of the product, the install, and the service. I'd like to see how these windows affect how the home feels in the summer considering they have replaced a set of 20+ year old windows. Thanks to the team, and the work provided.

Not sure that I got 25% off on all my windows and sliding glass door. When I recieved my receipt for the windows and sliding glass door there was no evidence of the discount of any type. Even when I recieved my contract there were signs of discount applied. So now I’m looking to have proof of window and sliding glass door priceing. As for finishing sliding glass door was finished off great. As for my windows inside I was told that I would have to finish them off my self. ( picture included ) all four windows were left this way, that was not included in the finish price I don’t think. $7,200.00 wouldn’t cover finish on windows. I’m not a carpenter plus I hired you to finish all windows not told to finish them by my self.

I had a deck sliding door and decorative window above door replaced. Installation was a 3-4 steps/ days process since this was a pop out with stucco around. The actual door and window installers were fantastic, clean and efficient. The foam and metal grid not so clean but I called and the stucco person following fixed and did the stucco first coat and stucco second coat. He will be also doing the matching painting and he is doing a professional work. I’m planning to change all my house windows with Desert King. This sliding door was the test and Desert King passed the test. I’ll keep you posted with the rest of the house.

How long does a typical replacement window project take?

After an order is placed, the final measurements are taken within a week. Depending on what is ordered, most products arrive within 4-6 weeks after that measure. As for the install itself, we can typically install 6-10 windows per day.

Is it cheaper to replace all windows at once?

Yes and no. If a customer installs at least 4 windows at a time, that will be the biggest price break. As long as a customer does 4 at a time, they will not be paying extra. But we have financing so they can get them all done at once and pay them off slowly while enjoying the energy savings along with less dust and outside noise! Plus, all out dated windows leak air. If you had 10 holes in your boat, would you fix only 4 at a time?? NOPE!

Is there a difference between new windows and replacement windows?

If its an existing house, no. They are one and the same. If its a newly built house, it has new windows but they are builder grade windows and will be outdated within 5-10 years.
